There are two options to attendance of the Artists’ Salon

Option 2: present
By choosing present please be sure that you will commit to bringing along a piece of work. Spaces for artists who choose to present their work are capped at 7 per session, to allow enough time for meaningful engagement and constructive feedback.
Please make sure that you arrive before 6:30pm the door will be closed shortly afterwards.

Description
The Artists’ Salon is part of our Seriously Social events and is a gathering for artists to engage in discussion about theirs and others’ work in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The Artists’ Salon is a forum that opens the doors to the creative process, inviting diverse observations and opinions whilst promoting critical thinking through the practice of questioning what is seen.
There are two modes of taking part: attend or present.
Folks may choose to attend and contribute to the discussion about other artists’ work, without showing anything of their own.
Other folks may choose to present. This means that as well as contributing to discussion, you may choose to bring your own work at any level of completion to receive constructive feedback.
