Christmas Art Swap 2024

Following the resounding success of last year’s event, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Christmas Art Swap!

Mark your calendars for a merry evening of socialising and networking with fellow art enthusiasts on December 13th at The James Street Tavern in east Oxford.

The Art Swap operates exactly like a traditional gift exchange (or secret Santa), but with a delightful twist—all gifts exchanged will be original artworks. It’s a splendid opportunity to kickstart your art collection and share your creative endeavours with other talented artists.

In the spirit of this festive occasion, we kindly ask all participants to create a small, either sculptural or 2D artwork, and bring it along, gift-wrapped, to the event. Upon arrival, each artwork will be assigned a unique number, and in exchange, you’ll receive a ticket to show participation. By the end of the night, you’ll have the chance to redeem your ticket for one of the creatively wrapped artworks.

It’s essential that all pieces are original works crafted by the participating individuals themselves.

Attendance is free for members, while non-members are welcome to join for a fee of £15.
