Sue Chamberlain
I am a multidisciplinary artist and Chartered Landscape Architect, living and working in Oxfordshire for over 20 years.
I use film, sound, installation and mixed media painting, exploring the different ways I experience the world around me, immersing in everyday landscapes, liminal edgelands and un-noticed places.
I worked in my own and other landscape design practices for many years, dealing with the challenge of producing designs to a brief and these were required to meet exacting commercial standards and a budget.
From this background using live plant material, seasons, light, time, wind and sky, comes my need to use multi-sensory media, to immerse people in my work, to cause many emotions whether the space is in the mind or tangible.
